No one wants to waste.

Humanity currently consumes 1.75 times more resources each year than the Earth can naturally regenerate. Yet, only 8.6% of the world’s economy is considered circular.

We need to invent a path forward for a more sustainable future, with ever-increasing urgency.

We don’t buy things with the intention of them ending up in the back of a garbage truck. But with 2,600 overflowing landfills in the U.S. that’s usually what ends up happening with the things that we don’t want anymore.

So rather than reinventing the wheel, we’re just inventing one that works. Our vision is for a system that is efficient, of the century, and able to potentially work the waste problem out of existence; a real solution. One that doesn’t rely on unpaid labor to shoulder the cost and time of solving this problem and one that empowers people to participate in.

The time of thoughtless design for thoughtless consumption is over. We must, with increasing soberness, and hopefully, with growing alertness and rationalism, take notice.
